What to Post When You’re Starting Your Content Creation Journey
Plus, what to avoid ;)
I started my content creation journey in 2015.
I was a college kid, and I had no pressure whatsoever to create anything.
I wasn’t trying to sell anything or create a business.
I wanted to simply communicate my thoughts and share some experiments I had been doing with myself.
If I got 10 likes, great! If I got 3, that’s alright too.
You see? No pressure to create a result.
I created content because I wanted to share. Simple.
Over the years when I started selling stuff, like my coaching programs, I saw the joy running out of my content parts. It started feeling like a job. Yuck.
I see this as a metaphor for how most coaching businesses work as well.
You get started by actually doing what you really love — coaching. And then you try making it a business and it gets to a point where it loses its charm — ’cause you’re always looking for new clients to coach.
This serves as a reminder to keep centering back to love, i.e why we started doing all this in the first place.
