Before you read this, consider reading-

What is Stoicism?

Consider going to a grocery store. Your visit to the store will only be productive if you know what sort of articles you need to buy. Or, you can visit the store without any plans, and you’ll have to witness a plethora of choices of available articles, among which you’d have to choose what to buy.

The former sounds less confusing and tiring. The latter makes our visit hard due to all the available choices.

If we aren’t aware of our needs, we’d be wasting a hell lot of time in our lives.

Everybody has different sets of strengths and weaknesses.

For me, I prefer writing in the morning, when there’s no one talking around me. I feel calm and peaceful while writing this. It’s 4.56 AM right now. On the other hand, I have friends who prefer pouring their hearts on paper before going to sleep.

I wake up at 4–5 A.M. Most of my friends sleep late at night.

Being aware of our strengths can boost up our productivity exponentially.

When you are aware of your weaknesses, the situations and emotions won’t be able to control you.

You won’t be affected by the adverse conditions around your soft spot.

And this is exactly what a stoic needs: staying unaffected in the name of adversities.

Ask yourself: “What worries me the most?”

Being aware of yourself is the first step towards the journey of stoicism.

Thank you!
