How to Attend My Group Sessions

Online group meeting etiquette

After the historic 2020 event, most of the group coaching and meetings have been held online.

As a matter of fact, 100% of my coaching sessions have happened online since I started this career. That might account for 3000+ different meeting sessions, whoa!

Here are a few invitations to follow while attending my (or any) group sessions —

  • Listen to create. What if the speaker speaks about shoes for an hour, and you still created what you wanted? How can you listen with so much intention?
  • Listen for insight. Even if you have already heard what the speaker is saying, listen to it like you’re listening for the first time. Embody the words.
  • Mute yourself first. Literally one of the first things to do when you join an online meeting.
  • Have a notebook and water with you. Take notes. When you write stuff done, it leaves more impression on your brain. And having regular water will help you stay hydrated and fresh.
  • Prepare in advance. Check the mic and voice. Do an internet speed test too. If you can’t find the meeting link, ask the host to share it asap.
